We're almost there everyone. It's almost the weekend!
This week has gone so fast! There has been so much meeting at work and craziness and learning and my poor brain is melting, in a good way. It's melting so that it can reform into a new super brain that knows everything it's supposed to!
So what am I thankful for this week?
I am thankful for being busy, it's a nice change of pace from the slow work days of weeks past.
I am thankful for new friends.
I am thankful for a new budgeting system.
I am thankful that it always works out, even when it feels like there is no way it will.
I am thankful that I have a hobby that I love that I can share with others.
Have a great Thursday!
Love,
Keely

Weekly Wrap Up
It's Friday my loves!
We have made it through the week. High five for that!
So I think I'm going to take this week's post more on the wordless side. It's been pretty standard, minus the going to a speakeasy with the roomie and a friend. It was so wonderful to feel transported in time!
There was work, a dinner party, and fabulous box from It's Paper Dear that I am in love with!
Other than that it was a bit of lounging, some family time and a pedicure. Enjoy the photos!
Love,
Keely

Thankful Thursday!
Good morning lovelies!
I hope you are all having lovely week so far. It's about that time again for us to be thankful.
I know this is only the second time I've done this post, but it's so great for me to have to sit down and think about all of the blessings in my life, it's a nice reset moment in the week!
Here's this weeks list.
I am thankful to have the ability to share my baking with my friends and family.
I am thankful to have a home that I love.
I am thankful that I have been blessed with such a wonderful community.
I am thankful for the moments, even the small ones, that remind me how lovely life is.
I am thankful that my friends and family are safe and that the fires in Colorado appear to be more under control.
So there we have it, my brief list.
I hope that you compile your own list and that you think about all the blessings in your life!
Love,
Keely
P.S. don't forget to check out A Complete Waste of Makeup for a link up!

Weekly wrap up
So we're back and I'm sure you're sick of me saying this but this was a wonderful, beautiful week! Nothing helps to teach you how loved you are better than a birthday! People band together to celebrate with you and love on you.
I had a great week of outings, great food and drink and fabulous community!
I am so blessed!

Check out the beautiful flowers for sale at Whole Foods. I didn't buy anything, but like any devoted Instagramer I did stop for a photo :)

After work on Friday I went out for a coffee, I loved the flower on the table :)

Birthday party prep (I'm the nerd who bakes my own cupcakes). That right there my friends is a lot of cream cheese, butter and sour cream, I'm making about 60 cupcakes for the weekend!

My niece and nephew stayed at my parents house on Saturday night, what a cute moment they had on Sunday morning. They're kind of my favorite.

I love when I get to snuggle a bit with my niece. She's such a sweetie!

I did some gluten free baking and what a smashing success! They actually rose! (Recipe coming in June :))

Here are those same gluten free cupcakes nice and frosted.

Working Closet challenged us to a 30 day "get dressed" challenge. This was day one (conveniently my birthday, so I totally wanted to look adorable anyway! Can you believe that dress is from a thrift store, love!)

My sister took me out to lunch and grabbed me this finger tattoos from a vending machine. So much fun to be had!

Look at how crafty my co-worker is! She made this bouquet for me out of duct tape for my birthday!

All the wonderful treats I got on my birthday :)

The wonderful people who went out for birthday drinks with me.

Get dressed day 2

Get dressed day 3 (playing with stripes, I think it works).

I got to do some shopping! I'm moving out, hooray! Check out all those towels (I bought everything for my bathroom this week at Ross and TJ Maxx, score!)

A delicious birthday treat with my wonderful friend. Thank you Keegan Gerhard!

Get dressed day 4

My sister and I out at my birthday dinner, I posted this picture a bit late.
Ah what a week! It's been so busy but so wonderful, I wouldn't trade it for the world. There is so much more to come!
I hope you had a beautiful week as well, and if not then I hope that next week you can find joy even in just the small things. Enjoy!
Love,
Keely

Cupcake Tuesday-Requesting ideas
Hey Friends,
So I've discussed with you before how much I love baking, but sometimes I just find myself in a rut. Of course, small things (such as "Oatmeal Cookie Day") can give me inspiration in a heart beat, but other times I'm just frantically searching for a good idea.
So I'm turning to you! If you have any brilliant ideas that you would love to see here (or anything that you would love to see turned into a cupcake) post a comment here and I'll do my best to get around to them.
You can never have too many ideas! Thanks for your help.
Love,
Keely
